Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication de particules de résine thermoplastique expansible. Ce procédé de fabrication comporte : une étape dans laquelle une résine thermoplastique est distribuée à un dispositif d'alimentation en résine auquel est fixée une matrice de granulation ayant au moins un corps principal de matrice qui a une face d'évacuation de résine, et ladite résine est fondue et malaxée ; une étape dans laquelle un agent moussant est injecté dans la résine thermoplastique susmentionnée tandis que la résine thermoplastique susmentionnée est déplacée vers la matrice de granulation susmentionnée, formant ainsi une résine contenant un agent moussant ; et une étape dans laquelle la résine contenant un agent moussant susmentionné, qui est évacuée à partir d'une buse ouverte vers la face d'évacuation de résine du corps principal de matrice susmentionné, est découpée par un instrument de découpe dans un milieu de refroidissement pour obtenir des particules de résine thermoplastique expansible. Les particules de résine thermoplastique expansible sont obtenues tout en régulant la température du corps principal de matrice susmentionné à une plage de température qui est de 115 à 200 °C supérieure à la température de résine fondue de la résine contenant un agent moussant.
