Abstract

본 발명은 점착제 조성물, 이를 이용한 편광판 및 액정표시장치에 관한 것으로서, 보다 구체적으로 (A) 아크릴계 공중합체; 및 (B) 구조 중에 메소젠 코어를 함유하는 액상의 광학 이방성 화합물을 포함하는 점착제 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 구조 중에 메소젠 코어를 함유하는 액상의 광학 이방성 화합물은 용해도 및 점착 수지와의 상용성이 우수하여, 이를 포함하는 점착제 조성물은 편광판의 수축에 의하여 생기는 응력을 완화시키고, 음의 복굴절을 효과적으로 광학 보상한다. 따라서 상기 점착제 조성물을 이용한 편광판 및 액정표시장치는 장시간 사용하여도 응력 집중에 의한 빛샘 현상을 방지할 수 있다.
