Abstract

 低油温時の車両停車時に気泡がトルクコンバータ内に滞留、蓄積し、発進時に十分な伝達トルクが得られずに車両の駆動性能が損なわれることを改善する。  エンジン30の始動初期等の低油温時においてDレンジ等の駆動レンジでの車両停車時に、エア混じりの作動油が第2油路132からトルクコンバータ32内に供給されることがある。この場合、第2油路132からロックアップクラッチ28に第2ライン油圧PL2が供給されるロックアップクラッチ解放時には、第3油路134が遮断(閉塞)されて作動油の排出が禁止される。そのため、低粘性による大きな管路抵抗に拘らずトルクコンバータ32内の作動油が確実に第1油路130からクーラー油路140を通ってオイルクーラー142へ排出される。こうして、作動油の排出に伴ってトルクコンバータ32内の気泡が低減される。
