Abstract

 ベゼルを使用しないで薄型化及び狭額縁化を実現し、剛性を確保するために、表示パネルの表示面側に位置した額縁部分と、表示パネルの周囲に位置する周面部分と、表示パネルの他面側を覆う背面部分とを有するキャビネット内に配置された表示パネルを周面部分に支持された保持部材と額縁部分とによって両側から保持する構造において、表示パネルの周縁部及び保持部材より外周側に位置し、表示パネルの表示面側から表示面の反対側に向かう方向に伸びるように額縁部分の内面部に突起部を突設し、突起部の内周部と額縁部分の内面部とを結合する補強部を設ける。表示パネル周縁側の防塵性を高めるために、突起部は額縁部分の内面部に一体に成形され、表示パネルの外周りに環状に配され、突起部の複数の周方向位置に一体に成形された結合部を備え、保持部材は結合部に結合される被結合部を有する。
