Claims (4)
- 表示パネルと、
前記表示パネルの表面側に配置されるカバーガラスと、
前記表示パネルの裏面側に配置される背面カバーと、
前記背面カバーの外周縁部の内面側で起立して前記表示パネルの周縁部を囲む立壁部を有する枠状部材と、
前記枠状部材に固定され、前記カバーガラスの外周端面を保護するクッション部材と、
を備え、
前記枠状部材は、前記立壁部の一端面と他端面との間となる位置で該立壁部の内面から枠内方向に突出し、その表面で前記カバーガラスの裏面を支持するガラス支持片を有し、
前記クッション部材は、前記ガラス支持片の表面から前記一端面まで前記立壁部の内面を覆うことで、前記カバーガラスの外周端面を保護する第1部分と、該第1部分から連続して一体に設けられ、前記立壁部の前記一端面から外面までを覆う第2部分と、を有することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の表示装置において、
前記クッション部材は、前記第1部分から連続して一体に設けられ、前記ガラス支持片の表面の少なくとも一部を覆うことで、該ガラス支持片の表面と前記カバーガラスの裏面との間に挟持される第3部分を有することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の表示装置において、
前記クッション部材は、前記第2部分から連続して一体に設けられ、前記立壁部の前記他端面を覆うことで、該他端面と前記背面カバーの内面との間に挟持される第4部分を有することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置と、該表示装置を制御する制御部と、を備えることを特徴とする電子機器。
