Abstract

 出力特性に優れ、好ましくは出力特性と高温サイクル寿命特性とを両立し得る、新たなスピネル型リチウム遷移金属酸化物(LMO)を提供するため、一般式Li1+xM2-xO4(但し、式中のMは、Mn、Al及びMgを含む遷移金属であり、xは0.01~0.08である。)で表わされるリチウム遷移金属酸化物において、ファンダメンタル法を用いたリートベルト法で測定されるLi-Oの原子間距離を1.971Å~2.006Åに規定することにより、出力特性に優れた新たなスピネル型リチウム遷移金属酸化物を提案する。
