Abstract

本発明は、表示品位の向上が可能な表示装置を提供する。本発明の表示装置は、n行m列(n及びmは、それぞれ2以上の整数を表す。)のマトリクス状に配列された画素と、略格子状に設けられたn本のソースライン及びm本のゲートラインとを有する表示装置であって、該表示装置は、奇数行の画素と偶数行の画素とが互いに反転した構成を有し、かつ該奇数行の画素と該偶数行の画素との境界領域に設けられた共通の保持容量配線を有し、該保持容量配線は、奇数行の画素用の保持容量用電極と、偶数行の画素用の保持容量用電極とそれぞれ絶縁膜を挟んで対向する表示装置である。
