Abstract

　本発明は、輝度が高く、発光装置駆動時の輝度劣化が少ない青色蛍光体を提供する。本発明は、一般式ａＢａＯ・ｂＳｒＯ・（１－ａ－ｂ）ＥｕＯ・ｃＭｇＯ・ｄＡｌＯ3/2（０．７０≦ａ≦０．９５、０≦ｂ≦０．１５、０．９５≦ｃ≦１．１５、９．００≦ｄ≦１１．００、ただしａ＋ｂ≦０．９７）で表されるアルカリ土類金属アルミン酸塩と、前記アルミン酸塩１モルに対して０．００８～０．８００モルのＭＷＯ4（ＭはＢａ、ＳｒおよびＣａからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種の元素）とを含む青色蛍光体である。
