Abstract

 高温での熱履歴に対しても優れた耐熱分解性を有し、硬化性、加工性に優れる制御された分子量分布と溶剤可溶性を兼ね備えた可溶性多官能ビニル芳香族共重合体を提供する。  この可溶性多官能ビニル芳香族共重合体は、ジビニル芳香族化合物、モノビニル芳香族化合物及び(メタ)アクリル酸エステルを共重合して得られ、ジビニル芳香族化合物の構造単位、モノビニル芳香族化合物の構造単位及び(メタ)アクリル酸エステルの構造単位を有し、Mnが500~1,000,000であり、Mw/Mnが50.0以下であり、トルエン、キシレン、テトラヒドロフラン、ジクロロエタン又はクロロホルムに可溶である。また、ジビニル芳香族化合物と(メタ)アクリル酸エステルの代わりに、両方の特性を備える2官能(メタ)アクリル酸エステルを使用した可溶性多官能ビニル芳香族共重合体を開示する。
