Description

明 細 書 表層細粒鋼部品とその製造方法 技術分野
本発明は、 機械構造用鍛造部品ならびにその製造方法に関するも のであり、 さ らに詳しく は、 強度の必要な部位の表層を亜熱間鍛造 と熱処理によって細粒化をし、 表層と内部との強度差を大きくする ことにより、 高強度 · 高耐カ比と被削性を兼備した表層細粒鋼部品 、 ならびに、 この部品の製造方法に関するものである。 背景技術
旧来の鋼熱間鍛造部品は、 棒鋼から部品形状に熱間鍛造した後、 再加熱し、 焼入れ焼戻しの調質処理を施すことによって、 高強度お よび高靭性を付与してきた。 しかし、 部品製造コス トのうち調質コ ス トの占める割合が大きいことから、 焼入れ焼戻しの調質処理を省 略した熱間鍛造非調質鋼が開発されてきた。
従来、 非調質鋼を用いた熱間鍛造部品は、 一度 1200 以上に加熱 し、 1000〜1200で程度の高温で鍛造していた。 しかしながら、 1200 で以上で加熱することによってオーステナイ ト粒は粗大化し、 1000 〜 1200で程度の高温で鍛造することによって加工後に再結晶が進み 、 冷却過程で得られる組織は粗くなる。 そのため非調質鋼を用いた 熱間鍛造部品は、 調質処理を施した鋼部品と比較すると一般に耐カ 比、 衝撃値が小さく、 表層から内部まで強度差が小さいため、 部品 強度の増加とともに被削性が低下する。
これらを解決するために、 特開昭 56— 169723号公報には、 適当な 成分系と熱間鍛造後の冷却速度を制御することにより、 MnSを核と する粒内フェライ 卜を多量分散し、 その結果実質的に組織は細粒化 し、 疲労特性が向上することが記載されている。 しかしながら、 こ の方法で得られる組織はまだまだ粗く、 組織微細化による強度の増 加量は小さい。
特開平 10— 195530号公報には、 従来の鍛造温度より低温である 80 0〜1050でで鍛造を行い、 冷却過程で微細なフェライ トーパーライ ト組織が得られ、 組織微細化により高強度、 高靭性を有する非調質 鋼鍛造品を製造する方法が提案されている。 しかしながら、 この方 法で得られるフェライ 卜の結晶粒度は 10〜12番程度であり、 組織微 細化による強度の増加量は小さい。
特開 2003 _ 147482号公報には、 さ らに低温の 700〜 800でで鍛造を 行い、 冷却過程でフェライ トおよびパーライ 卜の平均結晶粒径が 10 m以下のフェライ トーパ一ライ ト組織が得られ、 組織微細化によ り強度、 靭性を向上させる方法が提案されている。 しかしながら、 この方法は鍛造温度が 700〜 800 と低温で、 従来の鍛造より変形抵 抗が著しく増大し、 鍛造機および金型寿命の負荷が大きくなる。 鍛造温度の低温化による変形抵抗の増大を解決するために、 特開 2003 - 15552 1号公報には、 1 100〜 1300 で粗形状に鍛造する粗加工 工程後、 高強度が必要な部位を 600〜 850でで最終形状に鍛造する仕 上げ加工工程を行い、 冷却過程でフェライ トーパーライ ト変態し、 高強度が必要な部位が 5 / m以下のフェライ ト粒としたことを特徴 とする高強度鍛造品の製造方法が提案されている。 しかしながら、 引張強度が 600〜 750MPaと低く、 また実用的な鍛造温度域である 800 で以上で鍛造した場合、 降伏比が 0. 82以下であり焼入れ焼戻し鋼に 及ばない。
さ らに特開 2004— 137542号公報には、 鍛造温度が比較的高温の 10 00〜 1200でで鍛造を行い、 その後室温まで 0. 5〜 5 ノ 5 の冷却速 度で冷却して組織をフェライ ト一パーライ ト組織とし、 さ らに加工 度 2〜10 %の冷間加工を施すことを特徴とする高強度 · 高降伏比非 調質鋼熱間鍛造部材を提案している。 しかしながら、 この方法では 鍛造後、 冷間加工工程が加わり、 その分製造コス トが上昇する。 発明の開示
本発明は、 強度が必要とされる部位、 特にその表層を強化するた め、 当該部位を、 フェライ ト結晶粒 4 m以下の細粒組織とし、 ま た表層と内部との強度差を大きくすることにより、 従来の焼入れ焼 戻し処理材並み、 またはそれ以上の高耐カ比と被削性を兼備する表 層細粒鋼部品とその製造方法を提供する。
本発明者らは、 部品の使用中に応力が集中する部位の組織を細粒 化することで、 部品の実質的な強度が向上し、 かつ表層と内部との 強度差を大きくすることにより被削性を維持することに着目 し、 亜 熱間鍛造の比較的高温域でフェライ ト結晶粒径が 4 zz m以下のフエ ライ トと、 パーライ トおよび またはセメン夕イ トとからなる組織 を得るための最適な鋼成分および熱処理方法を検討した。 その結果
( a ) C : 0. 45〜0. 70ma s s . %の高炭素鋼に通常の熱間鍛造用鋼 の Nb量より多く を添加することで、 Nb炭化物によるピン止め効果と 固溶 Nbによる s o l u t e d r ag効果との複合効果が得られ、 その複合効 果により鍛造加熱時および逆変態再加熱時のオーステナイ ト結晶粒 粗大化の防止が図られる、
( b ) 逆変態によるオーステナイ ト結晶粒の微細化が有効である
( c ) 鍛造後、 直ちに急速冷却することで、 冷却過程での回復お よび再結晶が抑制され、 変態後の細粒化が図られる、 との知見を得た。 これらの知見 ( a) 〜 (c ) を組合せることによ つて、 亜熱間鍛造の比較的高温域でフェライ ト結晶粒径が 4 / m以 下のフェライ 卜と、 パーライ 卜および/またはセメンタイ トとから なる組織が得られ、 細粒化により耐力が著しく上昇し、 耐カ比の改 善することを見出した。 また、 内部の組織は、 方位差角 15度以上の 大角粒界で囲まれたフェライ ト結晶粒の平均粒径が 以上のフ ェライ 卜とパーライ トとすることにより被削性が維持できることを 見出した。
本発明は、 これら知見に基づいて完成した表層細粒鋼部品ならび に、 この部品の製造方法であって、 その発明の要旨は以下のとおり である。
( 1 ) 質量%で、
C : 0.45%〜0· 70%、
Nb: 0.01%〜0· 60%、
Si: 0.10%〜 1· 50%、
Μη: 0.40%〜2.0%、
Ρ : 0.10%以下、
S : 0.001%〜0.15%、
Ν : 0.003%〜0.025 %
を含有し、 残部が Feおよび不可避不純物である鋼からなる部品であ つて、 一部または全部における表層と内部とでは、 方位差角 15度以 上の大角粒界で囲まれたフェライ ト結晶粒の平均粒径が異なる組織 を有し、 表面から少なく とも 1.0匪深さまでの組織は、 方位差角 15 度以上の大角粒界で囲まれたフェライ ト結晶粒の平均粒径が 4 以下のフェライ 卜と、 パーライ トおよび Zまたはセメンタイ トとか らなる組織であり、 部品の厚さの中心から少なく とも 1 6厚さま での部位の組織は、 方位差角 15度以上の大角粒界で囲まれたフェラ ィ ト結晶粒の平均粒径が 以上のフェライ 卜とパーライ トとか らなる組織であることを特徴とする表層細粒鋼部品。
( 2 ) 鋼の成分が、 質量%で、 さ らに、 A1 : 0.005〜! ).050 %を含 有することを特徴とする ( 1 ) 記載の表層細粒鋼部品。
( 3 ) 鋼の成分が、 質量%で、 さ らに、 V : 0.01%〜0.50%を含 有することを特徴とする ( 1 ) または ( 2 ) 記載の表層細粒鋼部品
( 4 ) ( 1 ) 〜 ( 3 ) のいずれかに記載の成分からなる鋼材を 11 50で以上、 1350で以下に加熱し、 強度が必要な部位を、 400^以下 まで平均冷却速度 0.5で Z秒以上、 150で Z秒以下で冷却し、 該冷却 後 800〜 1000でに平均昇温速度 1.0 秒以上で昇温し、 所定の形状 に 1000 以下、 800 以上で亜熱間鍛造成形する際、 相当歪み 1.5以 上、 5.0以下となるように加工し、 該加工後 550で以上、 650 以下 の温度範囲まで平均冷却速度 10 /秒以上、 150で 秒以下で冷却 し、 その後、 部品全体を空冷もしく は恒温処理を施し、 強度が必要 な部位の表面から少なく とも 1. Omni深さまでの組織を、 方位差角 15 度以上の大角粒界で囲まれたフェライ 卜結晶粒の平均粒径が 4 / m 以下のフェライ 卜と、 パーライ トおよび またはセメンタイ 卜とか らなる組織とし、 部品の厚さの中心から少なく とも 1 6厚さまで の部位の組織を、 方位差角 15度以上の大角粒界で囲まれたフェライ ト結晶粒の平均粒径が 15 m以上のフェライ トとパ一ライ トとから なる組織とすることを特徴とする表層細粒鋼部品の製造方法。
( 5 ) ( 1 ) 〜 ( 3 ) のいずれかに記載の成分からなる鋼材を 11 50 以上、 1350で以下に加熱し、 強度が必要な部位を、 所定の形状 に 1000 以下、 800 以上で亜熱間鍛造成形する際、 相当歪み 1.5以 上、 5.0以下となるように加工し、 該加工後 400で以下まで平均冷却 速度 0.5 :Z秒以上、 150 /秒以下で冷却し、 該冷却後 800〜 1000 に平均昇温速度 1.0で z秒以上で昇温し、 その後、 部品全体を空 冷して、 強度が必要な部位の表面から少なく とも 1. まず、 請求項 1〜 3に記載している鋼の合金成分の限定理由につ いて以下に説明する。
C : 0.45%〜0. 70%
Cは部品として必要な強度を確保するのに有効な元素である。 炭 素以外の合金元素の添加を抑え、 部品として十分な強度を得るため に、 下限を 0.45%以上とする。 好ましくは、 0. 50%以上とする。 本 発明では微細化する方法として、 請求項 4〜 5の製造方法を施すこ とにより解決した。 しかし、 過剰に添加するとパーライ ト組織が増 加し、 耐カ、 衝撃値および被削性が低下するので、 上限を 0. 70%に 限定する。 また Cは Nbと炭化物を形成し、 鍛造加熱時および逆変態 時のオーステナイ 卜粒の粗大化を防止するのに有効である。
Nb: 0. 01%〜0. 60% Nbは加熱時のオーステナイ ト中に固溶および炭化物として存在す る。 固溶 Nbは転位の回復、 再結晶および粒成長を遅らせる solute d rag効果を発揮し、 また Nb炭化物は粒成長を止めるピン止め粒子と して作用する。 本発明では、 C : 0.45〜0.70%の高炭素鋼に従来の 熱間鍛造用鋼より多い Nbを添加することにより、 上記の solute dra g効果とピン止め効果との複合効果が得られ、 この複合効果により 鍛造加熱時および逆変態時のオーステナイ ト粒の粗大化防止に有効 である。 この複合効果を十分に得るためには、 0.01 %以上の添加が 必要である。 しかし、 過剰に添加するとコス ト高になるため、 上限 を 0.60%に限定する。
Si : 0.10%〜 1.50%
Siはフェライ 卜の固溶強化元素として有効な元素であり、 フェラ イ ト変態を促進しベイナイ トの析出を抑制する元素であるが、 0. 10 %未満ではこれらの効果は小さい。 しかし、 過剰に添加すると耐久 比、 衝撃値および被削性が低下し、 また脱炭が生じるので、 上限を 1.50%に限定する。
Mn: 0.40%〜 2.0%
Mnは鋼中の Sを硫化物として固定し、 熱間延性を高めるために 0. 40%以上必要である。 しかし、 過剰に添加すると焼入れ性が高くな り、 鍛造直後の急速冷却過程でベイナイ トが析出し、 靱性および被 削性が低下するため、 上限を 2.0%に限定する。
P : 0.10%以下
Pは粒界に偏祈して靭性を低下させるため、 0. 10%以下に制限す る。 その量は少ないほど好ましいが、 製造コス トを考慮すれば、 下 限を 0.001%とするのが好ましい。
S : 0.001%〜0.15%
Sは MnSを形成し、 被削性を向上させる元素であるが、 0.001%未 満では十分な効果は得られない。 しかし、 機械的性質の異方性が大 きくなることから上限を 0. 15%に限定する ώ
N : 0.003〜0.025 %
Nは各種元素と窒化物を形成し、 鍛造加熱時および逆変態時のォ ーステナイ ト結晶粒の粗大化を抑制する効果がある。 この十分な効 果を得るために、 下限を 0.003 %とする。 しかし、 過剰に添加する と熱間延性が低下して、 割れゃ疵が生じやすく、 上限を 0.025 %と する。
A1 : 0.005〜0.050%
A1は脱酸に有効な元素である。 その効果を得るには、 0.005 %以 上の添加が必要である。 しかし、 過剰に添加すると酸化物を形成し 、 耐久比、 衝撃値および被削性のいずれも低下させるため上限を 0. 050 %とする。
V : 0.01%〜0· 50%
Vは炭窒化物を形成し、 フェライ トを析出強化する。 また固溶 V は転位の回復や再結晶現象を遅らせる効果があり、 鍛造加熱時およ び逆変態時のオーステナイ ト結晶粒の粗大化を防止する。 この効果 を十分に得るためには 0.01%以上が必要である。 しかし、 0.50%超 では靭性が低下し、 また鍛造性を阻害するため、 上限を 0.50%とす る。
請求項 1〜 3に記載している部品の特徴の限定理由について以下 に説明する。
次に、 機械構造用鍛造部品が使用中に破壊する場合、 応力集中係 数が高い部位の表面から亀裂が進展し破壊するのが一般的である。 よって、 部品全体を高強度化する必要がなく、 応力が集中する表面 のみ高強度化することで、 部品の性能を十分向上することができる 。 部品の性能を向上させるには、 部品の応力集中部または全部の表 面から少なく とも 1. Omm深さまで高強度化することが必要である。 しかし、 部品の断面全体を高強度化してしまう と穴あけ加工などの 切削性が低下するので、 部品の厚さの中心から少なく とも 1 Z 6厚 さまでの部位の強度、 即ち硬度を表層より 30HV以上低くする必要が ある。
本発明者らは、 方位差角 1 5度以上の大角粒界で囲まれたフェライ 卜結晶粒と耐力で整理したところ、 Ha l l -Pe t chの経験則で知られて いるようにフェライ ト結晶粒を微細にすると耐力が上昇し、 その粒 径を 4 ^ m以下まで微細にすると強化量が大きいことを確認した。 フェライ ト結晶粒径 4 m以下としたフェライ トと、 パーライ トお よび Zまたはセメンタイ 卜とからなる組織は、 従来の焼入れ焼戻し 処理材と同等またはそれ以上の高耐久比を有する。 さ らに、 フェラ イ ト結晶粒の平均粒径を 3 m以下まで微細にすると、 強化量は著 しく大きくなる。 以上の理由から、 部品の一部または全部、 即ち部 品において強度が必要とされる部位における表面から少なく とも 1. 0匪深さまでの組織を、 方位差角 1 5度以上の大角粒界で囲まれたフ ェライ 卜結晶粒の平均粒径が 4 m以下のフェライ 卜と、 パーライ トおよび またはセメンタイ 卜とからなる組織とした。
また、 部品の厚さの中心から少なく とも 1 Z 6厚さまでの部位に おける組織のフェライ ト結晶粒の平均粒径が 1 5 ; m未満では、 内部 の硬度を表層より 30HV以上低くできないので、 該部位の組織を、 方 位差角 1 5度以上の大角粒界で囲まれたフェライ ト結晶粒の平均粒径 が 1 5 m以上のフェライ トとパーライ 卜とからなる組織とした。
ここで述べたフェライ ト結晶粒の平均粒径は、 後方散乱電子線回 折パターンから結晶方位解析を行い、 解析で得られた方位差角 1 5度 以上の大角粒界で囲まれたフェライ ト結晶粒の面積重み付け平均円 相当径とした。 面積重み付け平均円相当径 Dは解析結果から下記 ( 1 ) 式を用いて算出する。

まず請求項 4, 5において、 請求項 1〜 3記載の鋼を 1150で以上 、 1350で以下に加熱することを限定した理由について述べる。 請求 項 1〜 3記載の鋼は 1150 未満では、 固溶 Nb等の溶質原子の量が少 なく solute drag効果が不十分であり、 よって Nb炭化物によるピン 止め効果との複合効果が十分得られない。 その一方、 1350で超では Nb炭化物の量が減少しピン止め効果が不十分であり、 固溶 Nb等の溶 質原子による solute drag効果との複合効果が得られない。 また結 晶粒成長の駆動力が大きく、 鍛造加熱時のオーステナイ ト粒が粗大 化する。
機械構造用鍛造部品は必ずしも部品全体を高強度化する必要がな く、 使用中、 応力集中係数が高い部位の表層を高強度化するだけで 、 部品の性能は十分向上する。 例えば、 クランクシャフ トではコン ロッ ドが取り付けられるピン部、 コンロッ ドでは大端部と小端部を つなぐ連接部で応力集中係数が高く強度が要求される。 その一方で アクスルシャフ トでは部品全体表層に捻りが生じ、 部品全体表層に 強度が要求させる。 本発明において強度が必要な部位とは、 これら の部位の表層を示す。 これら強度を必要とする部位の表層に、 請求 項 4 , 5記載の鍛造温度で相当歪み 1.5以上、 5.0以下となるように 加工と熱処理方法を施すことで高強度、 高耐久比を付与する。 相当 歪みで 1. 5未満の歪みでは、 結晶粒微細化の効果が十分得られない ため、 その下限を 1. 5以上とする。 また相当歪みで 5. 0超の歪みでは 、 工業的に適さない。
ここで、 相当歪みとは、 多軸応力状態で与えられた歪の単軸応力 状態での相当量を示すものであり、 文献 「基礎からわかる塑性加工 」 (コロナ社 2003年 2月 25日発行 第 5刷) の第 60〜63頁に記載さ れている手法により求めるものである。
鍛造温度を比較的高い温度の 1000 以下、 800で以上に限定した のは、 800T:未満の温度で鍛造を行うと、 変形抵抗が著しく増加し 、 複雑な形状をもつ実部品を造るには鍛造機および金型への負担が 大きすぎる。 また 1000でを超える温度で鍛造すると、 加工再結晶に よるオーステナイ ト粒微細化の効果は十分得られないからである。 したがって、 鍛造温度の上限を 1000T:、 下限を 800 とする。
請求項 4において、 加工後 550 以上、 650で以下の温度範囲まで 平均冷却速度 10で 秒以上、 150で 秒以下で冷却することを限定 したのは、 10で 秒未満で冷却すると、 鍛造時に導入した歪が冷却 過程で回復および再結晶現象により解消し、 また加工再結晶した結 晶粒が粗大化し、 これら結晶粒微細化の効果が十分に得られないか らである。 150で 秒超で冷却することは、 工業的に適さない。 請求項 4において、 鍛造前に 400で以下までを平均冷却速度 0. 5 Z秒以上、 150で 秒以下で冷却、 その後 800〜 1000 以上に平均昇 温速度 l . O^ Z s以上で昇温することを限定し、 また請求項 5にお いて、 鍛造直後 400 以下までを平均冷却速度 0. 5で Z s以上、 150 で 秒以下で冷却、 その後 800〜 1000で以上に平均昇温速度 1. 0で s以上で昇温することを限定したのは、 さらにオーステナイ ト粒を 微細化するためである。 即ち一度、 オーステナイ ト単相域から 400 以下まで冷却し、 フェライ トーパーライ ト変態点以下にする。 変 態後、 800〜 1 000でに昇温させ、 微細なオーステナイ トに変態させ る。 400 以下までを平均冷却速度 0. 5で s未満で冷却、 また 800 〜 1000でに平均昇温速度 1. 0 Z s未満で昇温すると、 十分なォ一 ステナイ ト粒の微細化効果が得られない。 オーステナイ ト粒の微細 化効果の観点から冷却速度および昇温速度は速いほうが好ましい。 しかし、 1 50 秒超で冷却することは、 工業的に適さない。
強度が必要な部位の加工および熱処理後、 請求項 4において部品 全体を空冷または恒温処理し、 請求項 5において部品全体を空冷す るのは、 鋼組織を、 一部または全部の表面から少なく とも 1. 0mm位 置においては、 フェライ トと、 パーライ トおよび またはセメン夕 イ トとし、 部品の厚さの中心から少なく とも 1 / 6厚さまでの部位 においては、 フェライ トとパ一ライ 卜とするためである。
本発明を実施例によって以下に詳述する。 なお、 これら実施例は 本発明の効果を説明するためのものであり、 本発明の範囲を限定す るものではない。 実施例
(実施例 1 )
表 1 ― 1 に示す化学成分を有する鋼から、 直径 50mm x高さ 60mmの 鍛造用試験片を切り出し、 表 1 一 2、 または 1 一 3に示す製造方法 を適用して前方押出し加工により、 表層細粒強化した試験片を作製 した。 表 1 一 2、 および 1 一 3に示す相当歪みは、 上記により算出 した。 表面から少なく とも 1. Omm位置において、 表 1 _ 2、 および 表 1 一 3 に示す逆変態時の平均冷却速度は加熱温度または鍛造温度 から 400でまでの温度範囲の平均冷却速度である。 また表 1 _ 2に 示す逆変態時の平均昇温速度は 400でから鍛造温度 800〜 1 000でまで の温度範囲の平均昇温速度である。 さ らに表 1 一 3 に示す逆変態時 の平均昇温速度は 400でから 800でまでの平均昇温速度である。 表 1 一 2 に示す鍛造後 600 まで冷却後いずれも試料片全体を放冷した 。 また表 1 一 3 に示す逆変態後、 試験片全体を放冷した。 本発明の 製造方法 1 、 または 2 を適用して熱処理した場合、 表 1 一 1 に示し たような表面下 1. Ommにおける表層のフェライ ト結晶粒径、 引張強 さ、 耐カ比および組織、 表面から直径の 1 6位置における内部の フェライ ト結晶粒径および組織となった。 フェライ ト結晶粒の平均 粒径は、 上記により算出した。
組織は光学顕微鏡または走査型顕微鏡によって観察した。 F— P はフェライ トとパーライ ト組織を示し、 F— P ( C ) はフェライ ト と、 パーライ トおよびセメン夕イ ト組織を示し、 F— P— Bはフエ ライ ト、 パーライ トおよびべイナイ ト組織を示す。 引張特性 JIS 3 号試験片を用いて測定した。
表 1 — 1 に示すように、 本発明 No. 1 — 10, 1 — 13は、 本発明の 製造方法 2 を適用した場合、 いずれも表層のフェライ ト粒径 4 ^ m 以下のフェライ 卜とパーライ ト組織であり、 内部のフェライ ト粒径 15 z m以上のフェライ 卜とパーライ ト組織であり、 引張強さ 810MPa 以上の高強度、 0.78以上の高耐カ比を有していることが明らかにな つた。 また本発明 No. 1—:!〜 9 , 1 — 11, 1 — 12は、 本発明の製 造方法 1 を適用した場合、 いずれも表層のフェライ ト粒径 3.
以下のフェライ トと、 パーライ トおよびセメンタイ ト組織であり、 内部のフェライ ト粒径 15 ΠΙ以上のフェライ トとパ一ライ ト組織で あり、 一段と高い 0.80以上の高耐カ比を有している。 0. lOmass. % 以下の低 Nb鋼でも、 本発明の製造方法 1 を適用した場合、 高耐カ比 を有する細粒組織が得られることが明らかになった。 比較例 No. 1 — 14, 1 — 17〜 19は本発明必須元素の C, Si, S , Al, Nbをいずれ も過剰に添加または必要量含んでいない鋼であり、 本発明の製造方 法 1 または 2 を適用した場合、 フェライ ト粒径 4 m超のフェライ 卜とパーライ ト組織を有し、 本発明材に比べて耐力が低い。 また、 比較例 No. 1 — 15, 1 — 16および 1 一 20は Si, Mn, Pをいずれも過 剰に添加または必要量含んでいない鋼であり、 本発明の製造方法 1 または 2 を適用した場合、 ベイナイ トが析出し、 本発明材より著し く耐力が低下する。

(実施例 2 )
実施例 2では本発明の製造方法を適用し表層細粒強化した試験片 と全体を細粒強化した試験片の強度および被削性の比較調査例を示 す。
本調査では表 2 — 1 に示す 3鋼種を用いた。 表 2 — 2 に示す製造 方法を適用して前方押出し加工により、 表層細粒強化した試験片を 作製した。 表 2 — 2 に示す相当歪みは、 上記により算出した。 表面 から少なく とも 1. 0龍位置において、 表 2 — 2 に示す逆変態時の平 均冷却速度は加熱温度から 400 までの温度範囲の平均冷却速度で あり、 逆変態時の平均昇温速度は 400でから 800での温度範囲の平均 昇温速度である。 鍛造後、 試験片全体を放冷した。 表面から 200 mを外周切削した後、 摩擦圧接を用いてネジ部を接合する。 摩擦圧 接により膨らんだ接合部を切削し、 ; f I S 1号小野式回転曲げ疲労試 験片を作製した。 表 2 — 3 に示す製造方法を適用して据え込み鍛造 により、 比較として全体を細粒強化した試験片を作製した。 表 2 — 3 に示す相当歪みは、 上記により算出した。 鍛造後放冷した。 鍛造 材中心から J I S 1号小野式回転曲げ疲労試験片を作製した。 これら 作製した試験片を用いて、 小野式回転曲げ試験により各試験片の耐 久強さを評価した。
フェライ ト結晶粒の平均粒径は、 上記により算出した。 引張特性 は J I S 3号試験片を用いて測定した。 組織は光学顕微鏡または走査 型顕微鏡によって観察した。 F _ Pはフェライ 卜とパーライ ト組織 を示し、 F— P ( C ) はフェライ トと、 パーライ トおよびセメン夕 ィ ト組織を示す。 硬さはビッカース硬さで評価した。 表 2 _ 4に示 す切削条件でドリル穿孔試験を行い、 表層細粒強化した試験片およ び全体を細粒強化した試験片の被削性を評価した。 その際、 評価指 標としては、 ドリル穿孔試験では累積穴深さ 1000龍まで切削可能な 最大切削速度 VL 1000を採用した。 これらの結果を表 2 — 5 と図 1 と に示す。
作製した試験片は表 2 _ 5 に示したような表面下 1. Ommにおける 表層のフェライ ト結晶粒径、 組織および硬さ、 表面から直径の 1ノ 6位置における内部のフェライ ト結晶粒径、 耐カ比、 組織および硬 さとなつた。 また、 表 2 — 5 に示したような表層と内部の硬度差と なった。
図 1 は本発明 (表層細粒強化した試験化) と比較例 (全体を細粒 強化した試験片) を横軸に耐久強さ、 縦軸に VL 1 000の結果をプロッ 卜した。

表 2 — 5および図 1からわかるように、 表層を細粒強化すること により試験片全体を強化したものと同等な強度が得られることを示 した。 また耐久強さが同等にもかかわらず、 表層細粒強化した試験 片の被削性は試験片全体強化した試験片より優れていることがわか る。
(実施例 3 )
表 3 — 1 に示す化学成分を有する鋼から、 直径 50mm x高さ 60隨の 鍛造用試験片を切り出し、 表 3 — 2に示す製造方法を適用して前方 押出し加工により、 表層細粒強化した試験片を作製した。 表 3 — 2 に示す相当歪みは、 上記により算出した。 表 3 — 2に示す逆変態時 の平均冷却速度は加熱温度から 400^までの温度範囲の平均冷却速 度であり、 逆変態時の平均昇温速度は 400°Cから鍛造温度までの温 度範囲の平均昇温速度である。 また表 3 — 2に示す鍛造直後の平均 冷却速度は鍛造温度から 600でまでの温度範囲の平均冷却速度であ る。 鍛造後 600 まで冷却し、 その後 600でで 2 m i n . 恒温処理後、 試験片全体を放冷した。 本発明 No. 3 — 1 2, 3 — 24では、 逆変態の 熱処理を行わず、 鍛造後、 放冷した。
表 3 — 2に示す本発明の製造方法を適用して熱処理した場合、 表 3 — 2に示したような表面下 1. Omniにおける表層のフェライ ト結晶 粒径、 引張強さ、 耐カ比および組織、 表面から直径の 1ノ 6位置に おける内部のフェライ ト結晶粒径および組織となった。 フェライ ト 結晶粒の平均粒径は、 上記により算出した。 組織は鍛造品の中央部 から光学顕微鏡または走査型顕微鏡によって観察した。 F— Pはフ エライ ト一パーライ ト組織を示し、 F— P ( C ) はフェライ ト、 と パ一ライ トおよびセメン夕ィ 卜組織を示し、 F— Cはフェライ 卜と セメン夕イ ト組織を示す。 引張特性は J I S 3号試験片を用いて測定 した。 表 3 — 2 に示すように、 本発明 No. 3 — :! 〜 6 , 3 — 13〜18は、 いずれも表層のフェライ ト粒径 3. 以下のフェライ ト、 パーラ ィ トおよびセメン夕ィ ト組織、 またはフェライ トとセメンタイ ト組 織であり、 内部のフェライ ト粒径 以上のフェライ 卜とパーラ イ ト組織であり、 引張強さ 847MPa以上の高強度、 0. 79以上の高耐カ 比を有していることが明らかになった。 比較例 No. 3 — 7 , 3 - 19 は逆変態前の加熱温度が低く、 固溶 Nbの溶質原子量が少なく solute dragによるオーステナイ ト粒微細化効果が不十分であり、 熱処理 後の表層の組織の平均粒径は 4 m以上であり、 耐力が低い。 比較 例 No. 3 — 8 , 3 — 20は逆変態時の冷却速度および昇温速度が遅く 、 逆変態によるオーステナイ ト粒微細化効果が不十分であり、 熱処 理後の表層の組織の平均粒径は 4 m以上であり、 耐力が低い。 比 較例 No. 3 — 9 , 3 — 21は鍛造温度が高く、 再結晶が著しく成長し 、 熱処理後の組織が粗い。 比較例 No. 3 — 10, 3 — 22は加工度が小 さく、 核生成速度が小さい。 よって細粒効果が不十分であり、 熱処 理後の表層の組織の平均粒径は 4 z m以上であり、 耐力が低い。 比 較例 No. 3 — 11, 3 — 23は鍛造直後の冷却速度が遅く、 冷却過程で 回復または再結晶現象により粒成長し、 熱処理後の組織が粗い。 比 較例 3 — 12, 3 — 24は逆変態の熱処理しないことにより、 オーステ ナイ ト粒微細化効果が得られず、 熱処理後の表層の組織の平均粒径 は 10 m以上のフェライ 卜とパーライ ト組織と粗い。

(実施例 4 )
表 4— 1 に示す化学成分を有する鋼から、 直径 50mmx高さ 60mmの 鍛造用試験片を切り出し、 表 4一 2 に示す製造方法を適用して前方 押出し加工により、 表層細粒強化した試験片を作製した。 表 4一 2 に示す相当歪みは、 上記により算出した。 表 4 一 2 に示す逆変態時 の平均冷却速度は鍛造温度から 400T:までの温度範囲の平均冷却速 度であり、 逆変態時の平均昇温速度は 400 から 800での温度範囲の 平均昇温速度である。 逆変態後試験片全体を放冷した。 表 4 一 2 に 示す本発明の製造方法を適用して熱処理した場合、 表 4 一 2 に示し たような表面下 1.0mmにおける表層のフェライ ト結晶粒径、 引張強 さ、 耐カ比および組織、 表面から直径の 1 Z 6位置における内部の フェライ ト結晶粒径および組織となった。 フェライ ト結晶粒の平均 粒径は、 上記により算出した。 組織は鍛造品の中央部から光学顕微 鏡または走査型顕微鏡によって観察した。 F— Pはフェライ ト—パ —ライ ト組織を示す。 引張特性は JIS3号試験片を用いて測定した 表 4 — 2 に示すように、 本発明 No. 4 — :!〜 5, 4 — 10〜14およ び 4 _ 19〜23は、 いずれも表層のフェライ ト粒径 4 m以下の細粒 フェライ トとパーライ ト組織、 またはフェライ ト、 とパーライ トお よびセメン夕イ ト組織であり、 引張強さ 810MPa以上の高強度、 0.74 以上の高耐カ比を有していることが明らかになった。 比較例 No. 4 — 6, 4 — 15および 4 — 24は鍛造前の加熱温度が低く、 固溶 Nbの溶 質原子量が少なく、 solute dragによるオーステナイ ト粒微細化効 果が不十分であり、 熱処理後の表層の組織の細粒効果も不十分で組 織が粗く、 耐カも低い。 比較例 No. 4— 7 , 4 _ 16および 4 一 25は 鍛造温度が高く、 再結晶粒が著しく成長し、 逆変態による組織の細 粒化効果が小さく、 熱処理後の表層の組織が粗い。 比較例 No. 4 — 8 , 4 — 1 7および 4 一 26は加工度が小さく、 十分な細粒効果が得ら れず、 熱処理後の表層の組織が粗い。 比較例 No. 4 — 9, 4 一 1 8お よび 4 一 27は逆変態時の冷却速度および昇温速度が遅く、 逆変態に よるオーステナイ ト粒細粒効果が不十分であり、 熱処理後の表層の 組織が粗く、 耐力が低い。

Claims

1. 質量%で、
C : 0.45%〜0.70%、
Nb: 0· 01%〜0.60% ,
Si : 0. 10%〜 1.50%、
Mn: 0.40%〜2.0%、
P : 0. 10%以下、
S : 0.001%〜0.15%、
N : 0.003 %〜0.025 %
を含有し、 残部が Feおよび不可避不純物で囲ある鋼からなる部品であ つて、 一部または全部における表層と内部とでは、 方位差角 15度以 上の大角粒界で囲まれたフェライ 卜結晶粒の平均粒径が異なる組織 を有し、 表面から少なく とも 1.0龍深さまでの組織は、 方位差角 15 度以上の大角粒界で囲まれたフェライ ト結晶粒の平均粒径が 4 rn 以下のフエライ トと、 パーライ トおよび Zまたはセメン夕ィ トとか らなる組織であり、 部品の厚さの中心から少なく とも 1 Z 6厚さま での部位の組織は、 方位差角 15度以上の大角粒界で囲まれたフェラ ィ ト結晶粒の平均粒径が 15 m以上のフェライ 卜とパーライ トとか らなる組織であることを特徴とする表層細粒鋼部品。
2. 鋼の成分が、 質量%で、 さ らに、 A1 : 0.005〜0.050%を含有 することを特徴とする請求項 1記載の表層細粒鋼部品。
3. 鋼の成分が、 質量%で、 さ らに、 V : 0.01%〜0.50%を含有 することを特徴とする請求項 1 または 2記載の表層細粒鋼部品。
4. 請求項 1〜 3のいずれかに記載の成分からなる鋼材を 1150で 以上、 1350で以下に加熱し、 強度が必要な部位を、 400 以下まで 平均冷却速度 0.5 秒以上、 150^Ζ秒以下で冷却し、 該冷却後 80 0〜 1 000 ^に平均昇温速度 1. 0で Z秒以上で昇温し、 所定の形状に 1 0 00で以下、 800で以上で亜熱間鍛造成形する際、 相当歪み 1. 5以上、 5. 0以下となるように加工し、 該加工後 5 50で以上、 650で以下の温 度範囲まで平均冷却速度 1 0 Z秒以上、 1 50 ノ秒以下で冷却し、 その後、 部品全体を空冷もしくは恒温処理を施し、 強度が必要な部 位の表面から少なく とも 1. O mm深さまでの組織を、 方位差角 1 5度以 上の大角粒界で囲まれたフェライ ト結晶粒の平均粒径が 4 m以下 のフェライ 卜と、 パーライ トおよびノまたはセメンタイ 卜とからな る組織とし、 部品の厚さの中心から少なく とも 1 6厚さまでの部 位の組織を、 方位差角 1 5度以上の大角粒界で囲まれたフェライ ト結 晶粒の平均粒径が 1 5 m以上のフェライ 卜とパーライ 卜とからなる 組織とすることを特徴とする表層細粒鋼部品の製造方法。
5 . 請求項 1〜 3 のいずれかに記載の成分からなる鋼材を 1 1 50で 以上、 1 3 50で以下に加熱し、 強度が必要な部位を、 所定の形状に 1 0 00で以下、 800で以上で亜熱間鍛造成形する際、 相当歪み 1. 5以上、 5. 0以下となるように加工し、 該加工後 400で以下まで平均冷却速度 0. 5で 秒以上、 1 5 0で Z秒以下で冷却し、 該冷却後 800〜 1 000 に 平均昇温速度 1. 0で Z秒以上で昇温し、 その後、 部品全体を空冷し て、 強度が必要な部位の表面から少なく とも 1. 0mm深さまでの組織 を、 方位差角 1 5度以上の大角粒界で囲まれたフェライ ト結晶粒の平 均粒径が 4 m以下のフェライ トと、 パーライ トおよび またはセ メン夕イ トとからなる組織とし、 部品の厚さの中心から少なく とも 1 6厚さまでの部位の組織を、 方位差角 1 5度以上の大角粒界で囲 まれたフェライ ト結晶粒の平均粒径が 1 5 m以上のフェライ 卜とパ 一ライ 卜とからなる組織とすることを特徴とする表層細粒鋼部品の 製造方法。
