Abstract

Es wird ein Werkzeug zur spanabtragenden Bearbeitung (1) mit einem Werkzeugkopf (3) mit aus dem Material des Werkzeugkopfs bestehenden Werkzeugschneiden (15) sowie einem Werkzeugschaft (4, 7) mit einem Einspannabschnitt (4) zur Aufnahme in eine Werkzeugaufnahme vorgeschlagen. Um die Anwendungsbereiche des spanabtragenden Werkzeugs zu erweitern, ist der Werkzeugkopf (3) als separates Teil am Werkzeugschaft (4, 7) angebracht und besteht einstückig aus einem Hartmaterial mit zumindest einer Funktionsschicht, die einen Superhartstoff wie zum Beispiel CBN oder PKD umfasst . Außerdem wird ein weiteres Werkzeug zur spanabtragenden Bearbeitung und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Werkzeugkopfes vorgeschlagen.
