Abstract
集塵装置はインデューサ付きターボファンが、電動機の軸に固定され、電動機は、取付足によって矩形の本体に固定されている。ターボファンや電動機および軸は複数であり、さらに、ターボファンの下部には、単数の集塵フイルタが設置されている。そしてターボファンの直径は、本体の短辺の長さの40%から50%の範囲にある。

[0001] 本発明は、ターボファンと電動機を備えた集塵装置に関する。
背景技術
[0002] 従来、特開 2004— 53079号公報には、多翼ファンと渦巻きケーシングを用い、本 体の短辺の長さに対して、ファンの直径が 50%以上ある大型ファンを用いた集塵装 置が開示されている。通常、このような集塵装置では、軸方向の厚みはファン直径に 対し 15%程度であった。
[0003] 以下、従来の集塵装置について図を参照しながら説明する。図 4は従来の集塵装 置の構成を示す側断面図である。図 4に示すように、羽根車 101は、渦巻きケーシン グ 102を有する。また羽根車 101の直径 103は、本体 104の短辺 105の長さの半分 以上であり、また、軸方向厚み 106は、羽根車 101の直径 103の約 15%となってい る。また、吸い込み側に、集塵フィルタ 107などを設置している構成となっている。
[0004] このような従来の集塵装置では、商品の厚みが大きいので、クリーンルームや清浄 度を要求される機器に組み込まれたときに吸い込みスペースを小さくせざるを得ない 。そのために、空気圧力損失が大きくなる。したがって、集塵装置の風量を多くしょう とすると、電力や騒音が大きくなると 、う課題が生じて 、た。
発明の開示
[0005] 本発明の集塵装置は、複数のインデューサ付きターボファンと HEPA (High Effi ciency Particulate Air Filter)フィルタと複数の DCモータと矩形の本体とで構 成され、ターボファンの直径は本体の短辺の 40%から 50%の範囲にあることを特徴 としたものである。
[0006] このような構成により、集塵装置を薄型とし、吸い込み条件を良くし、風量を得るた めの電力や騒音を小さくすることが可能となる。

[0009] 以下、本発明の実施の形態について、図面を用いて説明する。

図 1Aは実施の形態 1における集塵装置の構成を示す側断面図であり、図 1Bは実 施の形態 1における集塵装置のターボファン 1の直径 7と本体 5の短辺長さ 8との比と 同一風量を得るための騒音の関係を示す図である。
[0011] 図 1Aに示すように、インデューサ付きターボファン 1が、電動機 2の軸 3に固定され ている。そして、この電動機 2は、取付足 4によって矩形の本体 5に固定されている。 また、ターボファン 1と DCモータである電動機 2と軸 3は複数備えられている。さらに、 ターボファン 1の下には、単数の HEPAフィルタで構成した集塵フィルタ 6が設置され ている。
[0012] 上記構成において、ターボファン 1が電動機 2によって駆動されると、ターボファン 1 の吸込口より、空気が吸い込まれ、本体 5に衝突し、下方の集塵フィルタ 6を通過す る。その結果、吸い込まれた空気から集塵が行われ、空気が下方に送風される。その 際に、図 1Aに示すように、ターボファン 1の直径 7が本体 5の短辺の長さ 8の 40%以 下では、同一風量を得るための回転数が上昇する。したがって、同一風量を得るた めの騒音は大きくなる。
[0013] また、直径 7が本体 5の短辺の長さ 8の 50%以上では、吐き出し風と本体との衝突 により圧力損失が大きくなる。その結果、同一風量を得るための回転数が上昇する。 したがって、同一風量を得るための騒音は大きくなる。
[0014] 図 1Bに示すように、ターボファン 1の直径 7と本体 5の短辺長さ 8との比が 38. 3% ( ターボファン 1の直径 7が 230mm)の場合には、同一風量を得るための騒音は 58. 9 dBである。また、ターボファン 1の直径 7と本体 5の短辺長さ 8との比が 47. 6% (ター ボファン 1の直径 7が 286mm)の場合には、同一風量を得るための騒音は 55. IdB である。そして、ターボファン 1の直径 7と本体 5の短辺長さ 8との比が 51. 6% (ターボ ファン 1の直径 7が 310mm)の場合には、同一風量を得るための騒音は 56. 9dBで ある。
[0015] そこで、ターボファン 1の直径 7は本体 5の短辺の長さ 8の 40%から 50%の範囲とす る。その結果、本体 5の内部の圧力損失は小さくなる。また、ターボファン 1の直径 7が 小さくても、確実に送風され、同一風量を得るための騒音も低くできる。
[0016] このようにして本発明の実施の形態 1における集塵装置は、矩形の本体 5に固定さ
れた複数の DCモータである電動機 2により駆動される複数のインデューサ付きター ボファン 1と、複数のインデューサ付きターボファン 1により吸い込まれた空気から集 塵する集塵フィルタ 6とを備えている。そして、ターボファン 1の直径は本体 5の短辺の 40%から 50%の範囲にあることにより、本体 5内部の圧力損失を小さくできるので、 集塵装置をより薄型とし、吸い込み条件を良くし、風量を得るための電力や騒音を小 さくすることが可會 となる。

図 2Aは実施の形態 2における集塵装置の構成を示す側断面図であり、図 2Bは実 施の形態 2における集塵装置のターボファン 1の外周部の厚み 9とターボファン 1の直 径 7との比と同一風量を得るための騒音の関係を示す図である。なお、実施の形態 1 と同一部分については同一番号を付し、詳細な説明を省略する。
[0018] 図 2Aにおいて、インデューサ付きターボファン 1が、電動機 2の軸 3に固定されてい る。そして、この電動機 2は、取付足 4によって矩形の本体 5に固定されている。また、 ターボファン 1と DCモータである電動機 2と軸 3は複数備えられている。さらに、ター ボファン 1の下には、単数の集塵フィルタ 6が設置されている。
[0019] 上記構成において、ターボファン 1が電動機 2によって駆動されると、ターボファン 1 の吸込口より、空気が吸い込まれ、本体 5に衝突し、下方の集塵フィルタ 6を通過す る。その結果、吸い込まれた空気から集塵が行われ、空気が下方に送風される。その 際に、図 2Aに示すように、ターボファン 1の外周部の厚み 9がターボファン 1の直径の 5%以下では、同一風量を得るための回転数が上昇する。したがって、同一風量を 得るための騒音は大きくなる。また、ターボファン 1の外周部の厚み 9がターボファン 1 の直径の 10%以上では、薄型に効果がない。
[0020] 図 2Bに示すように、ターボファン 1の外周部の厚み 9とターボファン 1の直径 7との 比が 3. 5% (ターボファン 1の外周部の厚み 9が 10mm)の場合には、同一風量を得 るための騒音は 61dBである。また、ターボファン 1の外周部の厚み 9とターボファン 1 の直径 7との比が 8. 7% (ターボファン 1の外周部の厚み 9が 25mm)の場合には、同 一風量を得るための騒音は 55. ldBである。そして、ターボファン 1の外周部の厚み 9とターボファン 1の直径 7との比が 14% (ターボファン 1の外周部の厚み 9力 0mm)

図 3Aは本発明の実施の形態 3における集塵装置のターボファン 1の構成を示す斜 視図であり、図 3Bは本発明の実施の形態 3における集塵装置のターボファン 1の構 成を示す上面図である。また、図 3Cは実施の形態 3における集塵装置のターボファ ン 1のブレード 10の枚数と同一風量を得るための騒音の関係を示す図である。図 2A 、図 3A,図 3B、および図 3Cにもとづいて説明をする。なお、実施の形態 1または 2と 同一部分については同一番号を付し、詳細な説明を省略する。

[0027] そこで、ターボファン 1のブレード 10の枚数が 10枚以上にすると、回転数が小さく 押さえられ、同一風量での騒音が小さくなる。

の騒音の関係を示している。図 3Cに示すように、ターボファン 1のブレード 10の枚数 力 枚の場合には、同一風量を得るための騒音は 59. ldBである。また、ターボファ ン 1のブレード 10の枚数が 11枚の場合には、同一風量を得るための騒音は 55. Id Bである。また、ターボファン 1のブレード 10の枚数が 15枚の場合でも、同一風量を 得るための騒音は 55. 4dBである。
[0029] そこで、図 3A,図 3Bに示すようにターボファン 1のブレード 10の枚数は、 10枚以上 とする。本実施の形態 3ではターボファン 1のブレード 10の枚数は 11枚としている。 その結果、ターボファン 1は小型薄型でも、送風能力を大きくできる。
[0030] このような構成により、薄型でも騒音の小さいターボファン 1を構成することができ、 集塵装置の集塵性能を保ちながら薄型とすることができる。
産業上の利用可能性
[0031] 本発明にかかる集塵装置は、薄型とし、吸い込み条件を良くし、必要な風量を得る ための電力や騒音を小さくすることができるので、クリーンルームなどに設置される産 業機器に有用である。
Claims
[1] 矩形の本体に固定された複数の DCモータにより駆動される複数のインデューサ付き ターボファンと、前記複数のインデューサ付きターボファンにより吸い込まれた空気か ら集塵する集塵フィルタとを備え、前記ターボファンの直径は前記本体の短辺の 40 %から 50%の範囲にあることを特徴とした集塵装置。
[2] 前記ターボファンの外周部の厚みは、前記ターボファンの直径の 5%から 10%の範 囲にあることを特徴とした請求項 1に記載の集塵装置。
[3] 前記ターボファンのブレード枚数は、 10枚以上であることを特徴とした請求項 1ある いは請求項 2の 、ずれか 1項に記載の集塵装置。
