  • the object of the present invention was therefore to create an improved fabric which can be used in a versatile manner due to its properties.

  • This textile fabric is in particular a fabric made of compact yarn, the compact yarn on the Base is made of polyacrylic staple fibers.
  • the compact yarn can consist solely of polyacrylic fibers or can be a mixed yarn made of polyacrylic fibers and other polymer fibers, these fibers preferably being present in the mixed yarn as compact yarns.
  • the fabrics according to the invention have a higher tightness and a very low hairiness, which is important for further technical processing. These advantages are achieved with a textile fabric with compact yarns in staple fiber lengths of 40 mm to 70 mm, preferably 60 mm.
  • the resulting new compact yarn made of polyacrylic fibers of the aforementioned staple fiber length enables better twisting of the fibers, so that there is a lower pore volume.

  • Previous compact yarn fabrics made it possible for 100,000 scouring runs in a Martindale abrasion test before the fabric was destroyed.

This is achieved in that the staple fibers of the staple fiber length 40 mm to 70 mm in the compact yarn are aligned essentially parallel and twist better. The willingness to bundle the polyacrylic fibers allows for good compactability in the further spinning process. Previous
