Abstract

Selon un procédé de production d'un succédané de tourbe à partir de matières premières et de déchets végétaux, notamment d'exploitations forestières et agricoles, les matières premières et les déchets sont thermomécaniquement désagrégés et dans une boudineuse à vis et mélangés avec des additifs minéraux et organiques. On obtient par ce procédé un succédané de tourbe dont les propriétés ressemblent davantage à celles de la tourbe que les succédanés de tourbe connus. Le procédé consomme moins d'énergie que les procédés connus de production de succédané de tourbe.
