Specification forming part of Design No. 6,305,- dated December 17, 1872.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, ROBERT SCORER and ROBERT HAM, ofthe city of Troy, in the connty ot' Rensselaer and State of New York, have jointly invented and produced n new and original Design for Parlor-Stoves, of which the following is a. speeilication, reference being had to the. accompanying Wood-cut or engraving of a parlor-stove which embodies cnr said design. n
e. One part of our invention consists of the design for the skeleton cover A ol' the waterurn, as shown in the aforesaid woodfent. Another part consists of the design for the remorablo plate B upon which the nrn is mounted, as distinguished by the word Tropic formed and arranged thereon so esto appear substantially as represented inthe nibrcsnid engraving. Another part consists of the design for the top-plate 0,:1s distinguished by the tinted upper part d, in combina-tion with the ornainented middle and outer parts e f, snbstnntitilly as represented in the cnt or engraving. Another part. consists of ythe design for the upright section G, as distinguished by the curved top-panels having the net-work ornamentation li thereon and snrmonnted by the ornaments i, so :is to appear substantially as shown in the nforesaiid cnt. Another part consists of the design for the frames J for the mien lights, as distinguished by thehinge-shields It. base l, columns Im, and top piece n, all shaped,
arrnn ged, and ornamented so as to appear substantially as shown in the engin-ving. Another part consists ot' thel design for the base-section 0, as distinguished by the rows of ornaments p, shaped and arranged on the inclined surface thereof so as to appear substantially as shown in the engraving. Another part the design for the removable hearth-plate Q, with or without the hinged parti' thereon, and shaped -nnd ornamented as shown in the wood ent.
