On the fire-plate C, above the lire-doors D D, is the title of the stove Advance rIhe title is also placed ou the side plates E, above the oven-doors D'.
The name ofthe manufacturing firm, ORB, PAINT- ER S5 00., is on the raised panel .E of the said side plate C, below the oven-doors D'.
The fire-doors D haveacentral elliptical ornament, a, surrounded by a bead, b, from which projects divergent ornaments d, the outer extremities of which give a rectangular form to the ornamentation corresponding to the form of the door.
The small side doors D" have a like ornamentation to that of the fire-doors D.
The oven-doors D have an elliptical central orna ment, a', surrounded by a wreath, e, from which project corner divergent ornaments d.
The contour of' the ornamentation corresponds to the shape of the door, the wreath c spreading toward the sides and ends of the door, filling up the spaces between the corner ornaments d', and making a nish with the same.
The back plate B, seen in iig. 2, of the stove has a middle raised panel, H, and side panels H H'.
The panel H is of rectangular form, and the side panels H H' rounded at their ends.
The panel H has a carved ornament, I, and the panels H H', ornaments I I' in their general appearance much like the ornament I.
