Be it known that we, THOMAS R. KENNEDY and Eowiuin) .T. KING, citizens of the United States, and residents of Rochester, in the county of Monroe and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Stoves or Ranges; and we do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, in connection with the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

The drawing is a perspective view illustrating a stove or range embodying our present design.

The leading feature of the design consists of the shape and ornamentation of the stove or range as a whole and of the separate parts thereof, as will be more fully described in the following specification.

The base of the stove (indicated by A) is provided at the corners with the curved legs a, and above the latter are the scroll and leaf ornamentations b, and between the corners the base is provided with the central ornamentation 0.

At the end of the stove is the hearth G, beneath which is the ash-pit section 9, and above the hearth is the ash-pit door II, provided with damper-openings and the scrolls h at its ends.

K indicates the fire-pot door.

L indicates the oven-door, at the center of which is the raised panel Z, and at its corners are scroll and leaf ornaments M, between which extend the plain curved bands m.

At one side of the ovenaloor is the reservoir extension N, having the design in relief, consisting of the curved band a, terminating in the scroll and leaf ornament o, and at the opposite side is the side fire-pot door I, bearing the ornament 19 and also a panel Q, provided. with the ornamental scroll and lcai design. Between the door and the panel is a small shelf having the plain depending edge i Extending along the lower edge of body of the stove and the reservoir-sectionis a plain band R, and above this is the oven-shell r, having the surface ornamentation and the rounded edge, as shown.

At the rear side of the stove is the pipe-shell".
