Be it known that I, RUSSELL H. BURR, of West Meriden, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Cofnllate; and I do herebyT declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters oi' reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description ot' the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent a front View.

This invention relates to a name-plate for cotins; and it consists in the peculiar outline ot' the plate, as shown in the accompanying illustration, and hereinafter described.

The plate represents a scroll partially unrolled at its two ends, the portion unrolled lying back of the front at both ends. The front or plate proper, in outline, is in ogee forni to give to the plate the appearance of projection. The surface of the plate is ornamented at the two ends, leaving the namepanel plain in the center; but this ornamentation is no part of the design.

I claim- The design for colin name-plate, consisting of the scroll shape, representing the two ends as partially unrolled and in rear of the front, as shown in the accompanying illustration.
