DESIGN FOR A LAMP-BRACKET.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,407, dated September 27, 1898. Application filed March 14, 1898. Serial No. 673,871. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM F. GOELTZ, a citizen of the United States, residing at VVaterbury, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Lamp-Brackets, of which the following is a specification, reference beinghad therein to the accompanying drawings.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a plan View of the bracket-arm, and Fig. 2 is a side elevation thereof.
The leading feature of my design consists of an arm for a bracket provided at one end with a V-shaped recess and with a similar V- shaped recess of a greater angle at the opposite end thereof, the said recesses being united by a straight and an angular web portion.
Referring to the drawings, the letter A designates the arm, provided at one end with the V-shaped recess 1 and with the V-shaped recess 2 of a greater angle at the opposite end thereof, the web between said recesses being composed of the straight portion 3 and the angular portion 4. Upon the front side the 25 bracket-arm is provided with the centrallydisposed rounded rib 5, extending from the inner Wall of recess 1 t0 the inner Wall of the recess 2, with two ribs 6 6 of smaller crosssection extending transversely across the two 30 Having described my invention, what I 5 claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
