DESIGN FOR A LAM P-BODY.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,332, dated March 14, 1899.

Application filed February 13,1899. Serial No. 705,441- Term of patent 7 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Beit known that I, LEROY S. BUFFINGTON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Minneapolis, in the county of Ilennepin and State of 1\aiinnesota, have invented and prod need a new and original Design for a Lamp-Body, of which the following is a specification, refercnee being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a side elevation. Fig. 2 is a side elevation with some parts broken away. Fig. 3 is a front elevation, and Fig. 4 is a rear elevation of a lamp-body embodying my design.

lhe upper portion of the lamp-body has very much the appearance of a bell horizontally disposed, and the lower body-section of the lampis approximately cylindrical in form, being slightly contracted where it joins the lower portion of the hell-shaped section. \Vhen viewed from the front or looking into the large and flaring end of the bell-shaped section, the face of the lamp at this point is shown to be concave, and a nipple-like proj eetion having the appearance of a gas-bu rner is seen to project outward at the center of this concave face.

The lamp-body in its general appearance is very suggestive of a Quaker bonnet.
