Be it known that I, DAVID S. WILLIAMS, a

My invention relates to a new and original design for the lamp-body or mixing-chamber of a petroleum incandescent lamp, and is more particularly adapted to that class of lamps producing a light of high candle-power with an incandescent mantle by the use of kerosene-oil vapor under considerable pressure.
Referring to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, Figure 1 illustrates a perspective View of a lamp-body or mixing-chamber, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 represents a plan view of the same.
As illustrated in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a vertically-disposed tube or chamber A, provided at the top with an inverted-U-shaped connection A, which terminates in a conical or bell-shaped portion A The bottom of the tube or chamber A is provided with diverging'curved branches A and A upon the respective ends of which are arranged cylin-- drical burner-heads B B.
Having described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, 1s
