Be it known that 1, DAVID S. WILLIAMS, a citizen of the United States of America, and a resident of 903 \Valnut street, in the city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and original Design fora Lamp-Body, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to a new and original design for the lam p-body of a petroleum incandescent lamp, and is more particularly adapted to that class of iamps producing a light of high candie power with an incandescent mantle by the use of kerosene-oil vapor under considerable pressure.
Referring the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, Figure 1 represents a perspective view of a lamp-body showing my new design. Fig. 2 represents a side elevation, and Fig. 3 shows a front elevation, of the same.
As illustrated in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a straight vertically-disposed tube or chamber A, provided at the top with a conical or hellshaped portion B and at the lower end with a curved tapering portion 0, which is connected to the burner-head D, and surrounding the burner-head is a cup E.
