um" |foz3 Mun) UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
\VATSON B. RULON, OF BORDENTOWN, NE\V JERSEY, AND JOSEPH S. KEEN, JR., OF PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA.
DESIGN FOR A VAPOR GENERATOR AND SUPERHEATER FOR INCANDESCENT LAMPS.
SPECIFICATION formingpart of Design No. 30,546, dated April 11, 1899.
Application filed March 14. 1899. Serial No. 709,057. 'lerm of patent 14 years.
To all whmn it may concern:
Be it known that we, WATSON B. RULON, residing at Borden town, in the county of Burlington, State of New Jersey, and JOSEPH S. KEEN, Jr., residing in the city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, citizens of the United States, have invented and produced a newand origii'ial Design for a Vapor Generator and Superheater for an Incandescent Lamp, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
The leading features of our design for a vapor generator and superheater for an incandescent lamp are a tubular body and a tube of less diameter than said body continuous of the upper end thereof and extending downwardly therefrom.
Figure 1 represents a side elevation of a vapor generator and superheater for an incandescent lamp embodying our design. Fig. 2 represents a section thereof on line :in, Fig. .1.
In the drawings, A designates a tubular body having a reduced neck 13 at top and a branch G at the bottom.
D designates a tube which is of less diameter than that of said body, the same continuing upwardly from the neck I and then being deflected laterally, as at E, and downwardly, as at F.
In the lower end of the tube F is the laterally-deflected limb G.
Having thus described our invention, what we claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a vapor generator and superheater for an incandescent lamp, substantially as shown and described.
