DESIGN FOR A LAMP-FOUNT.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,429, dated March 29, 1892.

Application filed February 8, 1892. Serial No. 420,792. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that 1, WILLIAM 0. HUMAN, of Meriden, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Lamp-Fonnts; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, which said drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents a View partly in elevation and partly in vertical central section.

This invention relates to a design for the fount of a central-draft lamp; and the design consists in the configuration as shown in the accompanying illustration. Directly above the largest diameter of the lamp-fount, which is represented as encircled by a fillet A, the outline of the lamp is convex, as at A, the

upper end of this convexity merging into 20 the representation of the figure 13, known as cyma reversa, which in turn merges at its upper end into a vertical neck C, supporting a cap formed in the representation of a convex collar D and a vertical neck E. Below the fillet A the lampfount has the representation of a convex bowl F, supported upon a banded foot G.

I claim- The design for a lamp-fount, as herein shown and described.
