DESIGN FOR A LAMP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 17,667, dated August 30,1887.
Application filed November 17,1886.
To all whom it may concern.-
in it known that I, PIERRE 1G. GUEnJN, of the city, county, and State of New York. have invented a new and original Design for Lamps, of which the following is a specification.
lhe nature of my design is fully shown in the accompanying photograph, in which a perspective view of the lamp is shown.
Theleading feat u re of my design is the body, the same consisting of the body terminating at one end in a dolphins head and at the other end in a volnte.
A is the base. 3 is an ornamental standard on the base, the upper end of said standard being in the form of diverging leaves, forming a leaf top, U. The fonnt 1), above said leaf top, terminates at one end in a volute, E, and at the other end in a dolphins head, F. Extending vertically upward from the volnte E is a rod, H, which terminates at its upper end in a crown shaped ring, H, having curved dependents. Extending laterally from the volute end of the fount is a scroll-bracket, K, on which is an ornamental cup, L, and above said cap is the flaming torch M. An ornalerm of patent it: yeais.

Having thus described my invention, t claim- 1. The design for a lamp herein shown and described, the same consisting of the bod terminating at one end in a dolphins head and at the other end in a volnte.
2. The design for a lamp, as herein shown and described, consisting of the base, the standard terminating atits npperend in a leaf top, the t'onntterminating at one end in a dolphins head and at the other end in a volute, the scroll extending laterally from the volnte end of the body, the ornann-ntal cap on said scroll, and the flaming torch on said cup.
