DESlGN FOR A LAMP-BURNER.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 21,521, dated May 10, 1892. Application filed February 8. 1892- Sen'al No. 420,793- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, WILLIAM C. IIOMAN, 0t Meriden,in the countyof New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for a Lamp Burner; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a. full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawing constitutes part of this specification and represents a view in perspective of the burner.
This invention relates to a design for a lamp-burner; and the design consists in the configuration thereof, as shown in the accompanying illustration.
In outlinethe lamp-burner is round in transverse section and has a low convex cone A, the lower and larger end whereof is represented as rising from the gallery B at a point well within the edge thereof. Below the said gallery the burner has the representation of a convex band C, the smaller lower end whereof merges into a fillet D, which is located at the upper end of a slightly-concave band E, which is represented as terminating at its lower end in a ring or neck F.
The leading feature of the design is a lampburner having the representation of a low convex cone, the larger lower end whereof rises from the burner-gallery at a point well within the outer edge thereof, a. convex band located below the said galleryand having its larger end uppermost and extending beyond the lines of the larger lower end of the cone, and a concave band located below the said convex band.
I claim- The design for a lamp-burner,herein shown and described, the same comprising a low convex cone, a burner-gallery from which the larger lower end of the said cone rises at a point well within its edge, a convex band lo cated below the said gallery and extending at its larger upper end beyond the lines of the lower end of the cone, and a concave band located below the said convex band, as set forth.
