UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
ADA GARDANIER, OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS.
DESIGN FOR A DARNER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,235, dated March 19, 1901.
Application filed Pebruary23, 1901. Serial No. 48,624. Term of patent 14 years.
design and looking at the same from above.
Fig. 2 is a similar viewlooking at the darner from beneath, and Fig. 3 is a side elevation of the same.
The leading feature of my design for a darner consists of a main body portion hav ing an upwardly-curved top surface and a flat bottom or under surface with rounded cor- 11ers and substantially square at one end and tapering to a point at its other end.
1 in the drawings represents the upper surface of the darner, which is curved upwardly and is broader at its end 2 than at its end 3. The under side of the darner is flat, as at 4-, and tapers from its heel to its toe end, as shown in Fig. 3, which makes the darner much thicker at said heel end than at the toe end.
The darner is provided with a groove 5, extending all around the same.
Having now described my design, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a darner, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I hereunto affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
ADA GARD ANIER.
