DESIGN FOR AN UNDERGARMENT.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,250, dated March 17, 1896.

Application filed February 1, 1896. Serial No. 577,750. Term of patent '7 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, SAMUEL E. CLIFTON, a citizen of the United States, residing at C0- hoes, Albany county, State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for an Undergarment, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, which represents a plan view of the front of an undergarment embodying my novel design.

The undergarment comprises the body A, sleeves A, bosom B, and shoulder-flaps C. The upper edge 13' of the bosom extends in approximately straight diverging lines from a point direct] y below the neck-opening A approximately to the top of the garment and to the sleeves, forming a V-shaped outline. The shoulder-flaps C are similar to each other in form and each has an upper eoncaved or curved edge, bordering the neck-opening and a lower approximately straight edge, G extending obliquely from a point directly below the neck-opening approximately to the top of the garment and to one of the sleeves.

The leading feature of the design consists in the edge outlines of the shoulder-flaps and bosom of the undergarment.
