DESIGN FOR A NURSING-VEST.
SPECIFICATION formingpart of Design No. 28,389, dated March 15, 1898. Application filed October 23, 1897. Serial No. 656.218- Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ALEXANDER ALLEN, a citizen of the United States, residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented a certain new and usefulDesign for a Nursing-Vest, of which the following is a specification.
The essential feature of the design consists in a nursing-vest having a V-shaped low neck and a straight opening down the front of'the vest from the neck, the edge of the opening having a lace embroidered border formed substantially as shown in the drawing.
The figure in the accompanying drawing is a front View of a nursing-vest, illustrating my invention.
A is the vertically-ribbed body of the vest.
a a are the armholes, having embroidery a and ribbon a tied in the form of a bow at a B is the neck-opening, cut low in front, as
shown, and this opening is continued at B on a vertical line to a point at a considerable distance below the neck. The opening is edged with a lace border 19, and at the junction of the neck-opening with the vertical opening is a ribbon b, and at the base of the opening is a ribbon 11 each ribbon being tied in the form of a bow.
I claim The design for a nursing-vest, substantially as herein described and as shown in the accompanying drawing.
