DESIGN FOR A PIPE-CLEANER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,191 dated August 9, 1898. Application filed May 13, 1898- Serial No. 680,645. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, JAMES PILKINGTON, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, residing at Liverpool, in the county of Lancaster,
England, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pipe-Gleaner, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing,
which illustrates in perspective a pipe-cleaner embodying my design.
The leading feature of my design is the blade or wire A, in width or diameter something less than the bore of the pipe. At the end of this blade is a little tip 0, placed eccentrically, and in the center of this tip is a hole 0, opening close to the blade. As the small hole in the tip corresponds practically with the hole in the mouthpiece of the pipe, the
