DESIGN FOR A BICYCLE-TIRE PLUG.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,744, dated November 29, 1898.
Application filed September 12, 1398. Serial No. 690.808. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern-.-
Be it known that I, OYRUs P. GIFFORD, a citizen of the United States, residing at Erie, in the county of Erie and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Bicycle-Tire Plug; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, forming part of this specification.
The leading feature of my design for a bicycle-tire plug consists in the strip forming the plug being substantially triangular in cross-section, with the apex thereof slightly obtuse or rounded and provided with notches therein.
In the drawings, Figure 1 shows aperspective View of my bicycle-tire plug. Fig. 2 is an end view of the same.
In the illustrations, A is the base of the triangular strip forming the plug, and B the apex thereof, which is slightly rounded and provided with transverse notches b.
What I claim is- The design for a bicycle-tire plug, substantially as shown and described.
