DESIGN FOR A BLANK FOR TOY-CAR BODIES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,155, dated February 7, 1899.
Application filed January 13,1899. Serial No. 702,108. Term of patent 14 years.
To (all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, HARRY THAYER KINGS- BURY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Keene, in the county of Cheshire, State of New Hampshire, have in vented a certain new and original Design for a Blank for Toy-Car Bodies, of which the following is a description, reference being had to the accompanying drawing and to the letters and figures of reference marked thereon.
Myinvention relates to a new and original design for a toy-car-body blank; and the invention consists in a blank for a toy-car body of the shape and configuration herein shown and described.
The invention is shown in the accompanying drawing, in which the figure is a plan view of a blank for a toy-car body embodying my design.
In the drawing, A is the blank as a whole, which, as herein shown, has formed on two of its opposite sides the opposRely-project ing lugs 1 2, and on its face the openings 8 adjacent the edges and the two lines of openings a near the center. At points about in line with the openings 4 and upon opposite sides of the blank the material is cut out to form notches, leaving projecting tongues of material 6 between the notches 5 and the material unbroken between the ends of the two tongues U (5.
The leading feature of the design is in the configuration of the central portion of the blank,with the unbroken strip of material between 6 and 6 and the lines of openings 4 4 on each side thereof.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a blank for a toy-car body, substantially as shown and described.
