No. 25,243. Patented Mar. 10, 1896.
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
FRANK L. GASSELBERRY, OF PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, ASSIGNOR TO EUGENE IVINS, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A BISCUIT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,243, dated March 10, 1896.
Application filed January 6, 1896. Serial No. 574,550. Term of patent 3% years.
I To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FRANK L. CASSELBERRY, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Philadelphia, in the county of Phila- Qlphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Biscuit or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification.
The leading feature of my design consists of a biscuit or similar article having a body or background outlining the numerals O6, with scalloped or spear-shaped configurations at the top and bottom between the disposition of said outlined numerals appearing within or upon said body or background.
In the accompanying drawings, forming part hereof, Figure l is a top or plan view of form of the configuration of the design of my said invention associated therewith.
Referring to the drawings, A represents the body or background of the biscuit or the like, outlining as to shape or form the numerals 96, which join each other at the point a, and between them at the top and bottom are scalloped or spear-shaped portions 1) and Z), as clearly illustrated in Fig. 1; but the said portions 5 and b may be omitted Without affecting the scope of my design. The lines defining the said numerals are represented by the letters 0 and 0, while the spaces between the numerals are represented by the letters (1 and (1.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a biscuit or similar article, substantially as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my signature in the presence of two subscribing Witnesses.
