Application filed May 14, 1898. Serial No. 680,748. Term of patent 14 years.
To a whom, it may concern.-
Be it known that I, BLOOMFIELD BRowEE, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, county of New York, and State of New York, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for YVriting-Pads, fully described and represented in the following specification and the accompanying drawings, forming a part of the same.
The object of the present invention is the production of a new and original design for writing-pads of that class known as pocket writing-pads; and the invention consists in the design illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a plan view of a pocket writingpad embodying the design, the essential feature of the design being shown in full lines and the remaining portion of the pad in dotted lines. Fig. 2 is a central longitudinal section of the same.
The essential feature of the design is the pocket A, extending across the pad B and decreasing in depth from one side toward the other, sothat the edge 10 of the pocket is inclined to the edge of the pad, substantially as shown in the drawings. The other end of the pad is shown in dotted lines as having a pocket of the same form as the one shown in full lines and above described, each end of the pad shown thus embodying the essential feature of the design.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for a writing-pad, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
