DESIGN FOR A CUSHiON FOR HAND-STAMPS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No; 31,276, dated July 25, 1899. Application filed June 29,1899. Serial No.722,348. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that LJOHN A. IIEANY, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia. and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Cushion for Hand-Stamps, of which the icilowing is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, illustrating in perspective a cushion showing my design.
The leading and material feature of the de sign consists of the outline and configuration of the cushion.
As illustrated in the drawing, the cushion presents the appearance of a series of polygonal tubes merged or joined at adjacent angles. \Vhen viewed either in top or under neath plan View certain faces a. a. of the po lygonal tubes appear as rectangular panels and are separated by angular channels or grooves h b, the sides of which grooves being the converging faces of the adjacent polygons. When viewed in end elevation, the cushion presents the appearance of a series or chain of polygonal rings arranged with ad jacent angles merging or abut-ting, as at c c.
Having thus described my inventiomwhat I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a cushion for hand-stamps, substantially as herein shown and described.
