Be it known that I, JOHN F. Figure l is a side elevation of a ring, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is an end elevation of the same. Fig. 3 is a View in perspective ofthe same. Fig. 4 is a plan view of the same.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists in the representation of a plurality of two-headed eagles, sometimes called double eagles, in such position as to be adjacent to the position for the diamond, gem, or jewel, with one of the outstretched wings of each of two neighboring two-headed eagles taking between the heads of the two eagles. At each side of the Ting-setting A, toward the rin g-band B, there is a representation of a two-headed eagle C,
each of whose heads D isin such position as to be adjacent to the position for the diamond; gem, or jewel, which latter position is in the ring-setting. One ofthe outstretched wings E of each of two neighboring two-headed eagles is stretched upwardly between the heads of the two eagles. The order of succession of heads and wings is two heads of a two-headed eagle, one wing of each of two two headed eagles, followed by the two heads of another two-headed eagle, continuing in the order named.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
