To (HZ 1071,0111 it may concern.- I Be it known that I, DAVID WALKER, a citil zen of the United States, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Stair-Carpet Buttons; and I do hereby declare the following to be afull, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as willenable others skilled in the artto which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked there on, which form a part of this specification.
Figure 1 shows in plan view a stair-carpet button of my new design; and Fig. 2 is a section of the same on line CC, Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material features of my new design consist in a staincarpet button ornamented by oval bosses radially arranged around the center, with their smaller ends adjacent thereto.
In said drawings, a indicates the body of the button, and a the central opening or apertu re for a fastening tack or screw. Around said central aperture are radially-disposed oval bosses I), raised upon the surface of the button and having their smaller ends next the central aperture a. What I claim as new is- The design fora staircarpet button, as herein described and shown.
