Winner, citizens oi. the UniLed States of America, and residents of Chicago, county of (Took, and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Fiuials for lied-Pillars, of which the following is a specilicatirm, reference being had L0 Lhe accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
In the drawings we have shown two views of the design in elevaLion, l igurcl repre enting the design in side elevabion, and Fig 2 representing an eleVation of the same in edge 1 view.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or maj terial feature of our design consists in a substantially cylindrical column slightly curved through its body portion and at its upper end terminating in a drooping acanthus leaf, the end of the leaf being curved lmclnvardly to the body portion.
