HARRY TIIAYER KINGSBIIRY, OF KEENE, NEW HAMPSHIRE.
DESIGN FOR A TOY CAR.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,156, dated February 7, 1899.
Application filed January 13, 1899. Serial No. 702,110. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HARRY THAYER KINGs- BURY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Keene, in the county of Cheshire, State of New Hampshire, have invented a certain new and original Design for a Toy Car, of which the following is a description, reference being had to the accompanying drawing and to the letters and figures of reference marked thereon.
My invention relates to a design for a toy car; and it consists in a toy car of the shape and configuration hereinafter described, and shown in the accompanying drawing, in which the figure is a perspective view of a car 'elnbodying the invention.
In the drawing, A represents as a whole the body of the car, which is provided with the downwardly-extending lugs 1 and with the central raised portion 2 on the upper part of the car, said central raised portion being connected with the roof proper of the car by the shortpieces 3, between which pieces 3 are openings 4. Each end of the flat raised piece is bent downwardly, as shown at 5, so that its end lies about flush with the projecting ends 6 of the roof proper of the car. Projecting from either end of the car-body at the lower part is a piece 7, having a vertically-upturned end 8 and downwardly-projecting inclined pieces 9, while from the lower portion of the sides of the car project lugs 10.
I claim as my invention The design for a toy car, substantially as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I afiix my signature in presence of two Witnesses.
HARRY TIIAYER KINGSUURY.
