DESIGN FOR AN END BLANK FOR TOY CARS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,103, dated June 27, 1899. Application filed May 31, 1899. Serial No. 718,917 Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HARRY THAYER Kuros- BURY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Keene, in the county of Cheshire, State of New Hampshire, have in vented a certain new and original Design for an End Blank for Toy Cars, of which the following is a description, reference being had to the accompanying drawing and to the letters of reference marked thereon.
My invention relates to a new and original design for a toy-car end blank; and it consists of a toy car and blank of the shape and configuration hereinafter described and illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which the figure represents a plan view of the blank out of which the end of the toy car may be constructed.
In the drawing, A represents a flat plate provided with the perforations a b. The top of the blank has a raised portion 0, while above the lower end on each side are projections (1. The sides of the blank 9 e are formed on a compound curve, and the upper edges of the projections d are wider than the lower edges. The lower end portionfbeyond the projections (Z is formed, as shown, with the curved side edges and straight lower edge. When the blank is bent up into shape, the part fforms the hand-rail of the platform, the body portion between the projections d (1 forms the platform, and the projections (l d the steps.
The essential feature of the design consists of the upper portion, the platform portion, with the projections (Z forming the steps, and the lower portion f.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patcut, is
The design for an end blank for a toy car; substantially as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I aiiix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
HARRY THAYER KINGSBURY.
