DESIGN FOR A RAILROAD-RAIL.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,910, dated May 30, 1899. Application filed Kl 3, 189B- Seriel No. 715,484. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that we,HENRY B. NICHOLS and GEORGE B. TAYLOR, citizens of the United States, residing at the city of Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Railroad-Rails, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part hereof, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective view of the rail 0E our design, and Fig. 2 is a transverse section through the same.

The leading feature of the design of our invention consists of the unitary structure made the subject of illustration and having .the shape or configuration hereinafter described.

Referring to the drawings, A represents the rail in shape or configuration as shown, provided with bases a, a, and a and recesses or openings 1), b, and b, extending into the body of the rail, and the fiangescand c and end recesses d and d.

Having thus described our invention, what we claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for a railroad-rail, substantially as illustrated and herein described.
