DESIGN FOR A CYCLOMETER-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,544, dated August 17, 1897.
Application filed June 28. 1897. Serial No. 642,760 Tenn of patent 14 yearn.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE B. BASSETT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Buffalo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cases for Supporting the \Vorking Parts of Cyclometers, Odometers, and Similar Instruments or Counting-Machines of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a case which embodies my new design. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the case shown in Fig. 1, and Fig. 3 is an end elevation thereof.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of forming the case with the cross-section and ends of an elongated curved contour or horseshoe shape.
A is the case, which has a cross-section of an elongated curved contour or horseshoe shape and longitudinal and horizontal sections of a rectangular form.
B is a sight-opening, and C and C are two projections formed on the sides of case A as a convenient means of supporting it in av clamp or otherwise.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The design for a cyclometer-case substantially as shown and described.
