DESIGN FOR A PAIL-HOOK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,908, dated November 30, 1897.
Application filed September 27, 1897. Serial No. 653,267. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that I, SPENCER C. CARY, a citizen of the United States of America, and a resident of Brooklyn, Kings county, New York, have invented a new and useful Improvement in a Design for Pail-Hooks, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of the same, in WhlCh- Figure 1 is an upper face View of a pailhook, exhibiting my new design; and Fig. 2 is a side or edge view of the same.
The design consists in a pail-hook having prongs at the ends, which are connected one to the other by an intermediate two-stranded body portion, and the essential features of the design are prongs or fangs and an intermediate two-stranded body portion, the outlines of one strand being eonvexly-eurved lines continuous with the lines defining the prongs and constituting or extending to the outer lines of the face of the article, and the outlines of the other strand being reverselyconvexed curved lines contacting at their ends with the inner of the side lines of the first strand, substantially as shown.
