UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
ERNEST A. E. MEYER, OF \VATERTOVVN, NBHV YORK.
DESIGN FOR A SUSPENSOR-BANDAGE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No; 30,952, dated June 6, 1899. Application filed November 13, 1897. Serial No. 658,499. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ERNEST A. E. MEYER, of \Vatertown, in the county of Jeiferson, in the State of New York, have invented a new and useful Design for Suspensor-Bandages, of which the following, taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, is a full, clear, and exact description.
Figure 1 is a side view of the suspensory bandage or scrotum-bag. Fig. 2 is a top plan view thereof, showing the same partially expanded, these two views being deemed sufficient to fully illustrate my design.
As shown in the accompanying drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists in a bag having its top and inner end or side extending substantially at right angles to each other and the opposite sides formed by curves, the whole forming a unitary article of manufacture.
a is the bag, having the top I) and inner side or end 0 extending at substantially right angles to each other, and the opposite sides are inclosed with acurved ed ge, as shown at (I. This curve extends from the outer end of the top edge 1) around to the lower end of the vertical side 0, the sweep being that of a full circle, so as to form a bag that is both wide and deep in contradistinction to the bags that are shallow in width.
8 is a binding extending around the curved sides, andf and f is the binding extending along the edges a and b.
\Vhat I claim is The design for a suspensor-bandage substantially as herein described and shown.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 6th day of October, 1897.
ERNEST A. E. MEYER.
In presence of- CHARLES MARVIN, HOWARD P. DENISON.
