DESIGN FOR A MACHINE-LEG.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,426, dated March 29, 1898.
Application filed December 9, 1897. Serial No. 661,327. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, MAYER SLOTKIN, acitizen of the United States, residing in the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Machine-Legs, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanyingdrawings,forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is an elevation of a machine-leg, showing mynew design. Fig. 2 is a side view of the machine-leg.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material features of my design consist of a pair of outer compound curved outline ribs A, forming a narrow waist at line X X, between which ribs are located and form a part of the design the pointed oval B, the elliptical ovals C, and the compound curved tie-rib D, connecting the bottom ends of the compound curved ribs A. Joining the above parts together to make the completed design are the horizontal ribs E, F, and G.
The peculiar and distinctive design of this machine-leg is best conveyed by an examina tion of the elevation shown in Fig. 1.
