JOHN P. SJUBERG, OF NEW YORK, N. Y.
DESIGN FOR A SASH-SPRING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,894, dated November 23, 1897.
Application fil d September l6 1897. Serial No. 651,952. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JOHN P. SJ6BERG, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Sash- Springs; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
My invention has relation to a new and original design for sash-springs; and it consists of a spring of the configuration and ornamentation shown in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a perspective view. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view, and Fig. 3 is an edge view.
The leading features of my design consist in a longitudinally-curved bar 1, the edges of which are parallel and the ends of which are bent at a slight angle to the body of the bar, one edge being provided intermediate its length with a lateral flat projection having a rounded scalloped edge and a curved row of perforations, giving a crown-like appearance. This projection has not the curvature of the bar, but is straight.
What I claim is-- The design for a sash-spring, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I hereunto affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
JOHN I. SJUBERG.
