DESIGN FOR A SCRAPlNG-TOOL.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,825, dated November 9, 1897.
Application filed April 23, 1897. Serial No. 633,540. Term of patent 7 years.
"0 (all whom, it may concern.-
Be it known that we, SARAH M. CUSHING, of Salem, in the county of Essex, and WARD O. PERKINS, of Boston, in the county of Suffolk, State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Seraping-Tools, of which the followingis a full, clear, and exact description.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification, in which Figure 1 is a side elevation of a scrapingtool embodying our new design, and Fig. 2 is a section taken on line 2 2 of Fig. '1.
The leading feature of the design consists in the broad flat body I), having convex side edges and two concentric concave recesses (a and a, connecting at their ends with straight edges a and a, which straight edges are at right angles to the horizontal axis of the body. The side faces 6 of the body between the coneentrio recesses a and (1 and the straight edges a and appear to reeede from the main side faces of said body. The handle portion (I, which constitutes a portion of the body, is of any approved configuration.
