DESIGN FOR A LOAF OF BREAD.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 23,574, dated August 21, 1894. Application filed May 4,1894- Berial No. 510,114- Term ofpatent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM II. WARD, a citizen of the United States, residing at San Francisco,in the county of San Francisco and State of California, have invented a certain new and useful Improvement in a Design for Bread; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of said invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it most nearly appertains to make, use, and practice the same.
In the drawings accompanying the specification: Figure 1 is a perspective view of a loaf of bread made in accordance with my design. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the same. Fig. 3 is a cross section taken on the line x-x in Fig. 2.
The leading feature of my design consists in a flat, oval shape bottom for a loaf of bread, having clearly defined edges so that when :0 viewing from the bottom it will be of oval form. From the edges of the bottom the sides rise toward the top in converging lines as shown in Figs. 2 and 3 of the drawings. The top of the loaf is convex in form as shown in 25 the drawings.
What I claim is-- The design for a loaf of breai'l substantially as shown and described.
