Be it known that I, HENRY THAU, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Call-Boxes, of which the followingis aspecication, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, which is a perspective view.
The leading feature of my design consists in a curved top projecting beyond the front and sides of the box, tbecurve of the top being outwardly convex andapproxiniately circular in form.
A is the body of the box, which is rectangular in cross-section.
B is the back of the box, which projects beyond the sides and top of the body of tihebox, and has at the top an upwardly-projecting middle portion, C, with rounded corners a.
D is the top of the box, which has an outwardly-convex surface, with edges projecting over the sides and front of the box, as represented inthe drawing.
The curvature of the top of the box, when viewed from the side of the box, is approximately that of a segment of acircle having its center at or near the back of the box.
Having thus fully described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- 1. The design for a call-box herein shown and described, the same consisting of a rectangular body having an outwardly-convex quadrantal top curving from the back forward and downward, and having edges projecting beyond the front and sides of the box, and a. back projecting beyond the top and sides of the box.
2. The design for a call-box herein shown and described, the same consisting of a rectangular body having an outwardly-convex quadrantal top curving from the back forward and downward, and a back projecting beyond the sides and top of the body and provided with an elevated middle portion.
