DESIGN FOR A BUCKLE- PlECE.
SPECIFICATION formingpart of Design No. 34,991, dated August 27, 1961.;
Application filetl July 20,1901. Serial No. 69,159. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, WILLIAM FREEMAN, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York city, county of New York, and State of 5 New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Buckle-Piece, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part a thereof. I
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a view illustrating my new design, and Fig. 2 is an edge view thereof.
The leading or essential feature of my design consists of a strap folded upon itself at (5 one end, forming a flap passed through a slotted plate and depending a limited distance over the face of the body of the strap, and another strap having one end located be tween the flap of the first-mentioned 'strap 20 and the upper part of the body of said strap,
disposed longitudinally on said strap and having rounded ends and the intermediate portion between the ends curved or bulged at the sides and tapering or curving inward to the ends, and circular ornamentations at the exposed end of the last-mentioned strap and on the flap of the first-mentioned strap.
1 represents a strap folded upon itself at one end and passed through the slotted plate 2. The strap 3 is disposed longitudinally on the strap 1 and has one end located between the folded end of strap 1 and has its ends rounded and the intermediate portion between its ends made with curved side edges or bulged and tapering to its curved or rounded ends, and circular ornamentations 4 are pro vided on the exposed end of strap 3 and the folded end of strap 1.
